well, i wanted to beable to flush both of my engines at the same time. yeah, i am lazy when it is hot outside.

so, i went to Lowes and bought these pieces:

1. 2x 1/2" female garden hose end repair kits $1.65 each
2. 2x On/Off valves male to female $2.65 each
3. 1x dual engine flush hose (this was on clearance at Academy) regular price was $29 dollars, but it was on clearance for $6.88. SCORE!

cut off the seadoo proprietary pieces and put on the garden hose repair kit. cut slits in the stock sealing boot for the hole in the boat. cut off one of the ears you make while cutting the slits to make room for the valve. feed the valve through the rubber boot and then screw it to the hose repair end you put on already. shove it back through the hole and you are good. turn the valve to off when not in use.

connect the dual flush kit and go for it. ;0) or if Academy doesn't have it for that cheap, do one engine at a time.

so for about 17 buck, i can flush both of my motors at once. ;0)

nice.

Nice. My only worry would be, is there enough water pressure to effectively cool both engines at the same time?

i would think it would be fine. but i guess we will find out when i try it for the first time. efectively the water pressure will be raised because the fittings have some smaller areas where the valves are, so the water pressue will increase after those points. in theory it should be fine.

Well actually I should rephrase. Hope there is enough water VOLUME. It isnt the pressure, its the volume or amount of water coming in that I would be concerned about.

i'll know more when i get to use the system for the first time. if it works well, i almost wonder if this should be a sticky thread. has good pictures and it is a common question asked it seems. plus it is cheap.
