Flush kit left in while driving

I have been leaving the end of the flush kit screwed in place on back of jet pump.... Does this matter? Is this where it cools the exhaust while driving?

really should not matter. I put a hose connector on mine and stays open. the high pressure take off on the pump section feeds the exhaust cooling system.

Yea I was just worried I was restricting the water flow to my exhuast....the only way water passes through this conector I use is to push snap the other end in....but if this isn't how water enters the exhuast while driving to cool then I should be fine.
