Which Fluid Film you recommend for spraying down the engine?
The clear straw colored or the Black?
Ordering my storage supplies and wanted to add the Fluid Film to my Salt Away order along with the fogging oil.

Honestly I have never used it.
Haven't ridden the salt since the 90's.

When I did We would wash the ski and engine with salt-away then hose the engine down with WD-40 and fog with fogging oil.

Around here the Seadoo Shop uses the XPS (I think that is the name.) Only thing it makes dirt stick to the engine. LOL I find Corrosion X which is an aircraft spray Corrosion Inhibitor looks like the same stuff. Any kind of oil based is better than nothing. I know Corrosion X does not harm electrical components and it creeps into everything. XPS is probably the best stuff to use if you're skiing in brackish to salt water. I can't get some of these skis apart. I threw 2 complete engines away. :D Junk.

Hi Gene,

Yes the river 3 minutes from house is brackish. I had the daughter out yesterday so she could practice driving the ski. She beat my poor back and kidney's to death hitting the wakes. Took her about 15-20 minutes on the ski and then she was ready for full throttle. We will mostly be in fresh water but when time is of essence we will use river here by the house. She had a blast yesterday playing. That makes all this aggravation worth it I guess.
She now wanting to hurry up and get the 98 GTX fixed. I told her if we lucky it be ready for spring season but do not hold me to it. I told her she still had Uncle Brian's to ride next year.
I getting them all washed and sprayed down for winter storage now. Will not be many days of riding left here in Va.
