Floating drive up jet ski docks

I just wanted to ask the people on this forum there opinion on the drive up jet ski docks . Personally I think they are very cool I also think they would extend the life of your jet ski . I see used ones where I live near mi. It seems like the used ones I see are in crappy condition and they still are getting 900.00 for them .

I have a pair of Shoreport's. They have the rollers up the center. $1500 new. A lot of guys have other brands that have wheels on the sides. Those seem easier to get the ski off.

I have had mine for 3 yrs. they raft together so there is a 2 ft walkway down the center.

Another guy in our group had the unit that raises the whole ski up out of the water. He got rid of that and replaced it with a drive on.

Would I be able to move them in winter if I had to ? The sales guy told me I could float them on my jet ski trailer he said 3 guys could lift one on a regular trailer to move them . Also since they are a part of your jet ski should you insure them . I'm asking these questions because I know nothing about them . And i recently rented a real nice slip for the year and next year.

Interesting that you say that as one of our guys rents at a marina. He removes his every winter. He has the 5 ft wide vs 6 ft. He tows it to a boat ramp at slow speed and winches them onto a spare jet ski trailer.

I have a dock and the pair are mounted to it. Don't move them in the winter. They are insured with the dock. State Farm. My jet skis are insured through US Boat.
