Flipped Seadoo GTI LE

My wife and son flipped our 2003 Seadoo GTI LE for the first time ever today. We flipped it back over and drained all the water out. I was able to get it started and ran it for about 20 minutes or so on the lake and everything seems to be ok.

Should I be concerned about anything? It did take me a little while to get it started but ultimately it did crank and was alright. Read a few stories on here that have me a little worried. We have babied this thing forever and would hate to have ruined it.

If I were you I would take the spark plugs out and run it for a bit to see if anything comes out and then fog the crap out of the motor. May also want to look at your electronics (open the box) and make sure everything is dry, no moisture in there.

IF you ran it for 20 minuets then the engine is fine.

No harm will come to flipping these and it is done quite often.

As Grim said, just make sure the electrical boxes are dry and put some silicone grease on all the rubber gaskets.
