I have a couple of boards under the boat that are carpeted and hold the boat on the trailer. Bunks? Anyway, they don't seem to line up right and the points on the bottom of the hull are sitting right on them. I want them to sit right on the flat parts of the boat.

Is there a way to adjust these without taking the boat off the trailer and going in and out of the water?

Is there a way to maybe jack the boat up a couple inches so I can adjust them while the boat is right there, so I can see where they need to go?

Would it be safe to put a 2X4 across the back off the bottom of the hull and jack the boat up by the 2X4:confused: I definitely do NOT want to damage it...

Otherwise, if I put the boat in the water and adjust them, i will have to load and launch 3 or 4 times before I get them all in the right place...:(

i made markings on my trailer as to where i went the bunks to go.
i then got a roll of carpet, tilted the trailer up and slowly let the seadoo come off the trailer as i walked the trailer our from underneath. I then placed a few pieces of wood on each side of the seadoo to keep it balanced, because of the markings i made on the trailer, (using a ruler, protractor, etc..) i was able to set the bunks up perfectly and then lifted the seadoo back on the trailer with one other man helping.

I think the easiest thing for you to do would either be to launch the seadoo and then work on the trailer.. or if you have access to a forklift, lift it from behind just a couple of feet so you can work underneath it!

This is a 1000 lb Challenger boat, so I won't be able to slide it off. I will be taking it to the river tomorrow, so I better hit those bolts with PB Blaster now and they just MIGHT turn for me tomorrow...

Funny, I just saw someone at the boat ramp this morning doing a bunk swap. Really no other way to do it with boats.

I suppose if you are crazy, you can take two floor jacks and .....ah, never mind, I just talked myself out of that idea.

With PWCs, set the hull on the grass with blocks of wood and go.
