Been working on cars for 20+ years and told a friend I would help him winterize his skis.
Is there a good online presence where I can buy parts & manuals to help us do this?? I've kinda struck out reaching out to our local marinas for help. They are happy to do the work for you but not excited to help the do it yourselfer. Hope thats not true everywhere.
Any help is appreciated.....

Winterizing the ski's and boats is really pretty simple. You basicly need to make sure any raw water is dispelled from the exhaust cooling system/intercooler and lubricate everything so it does not corrode during the off season.

As a first step check out these posts, they have some good information about winterization:

You can also search the forum for "winterization" and many threads should pop up. If you have any additional specific questions post back and we'll do our best to help.

Thats great and thanks.
Where to get parts and supplies??? Unfortunately, YELP comments say to avoid my local marina like the plague. I'd rather order online......

I get just about all my parts online. There are many online sources for seadoo parts, but I typically go though the forum 'parts' link at the top which will take you to riva motorsports out of Florida. Good guys to work with especially if you have questions or problems.

Try this link to the OEM manual for your '03:

http://sea-doo.net/Specifications/index.asp

If you get parts from them (PPG), call and tell them you're a forum member to get a 10% discount.

Some steps are probably similar between the '03 and the '06.

If you haven't pulled the jet pumps, and they have over 100 hrs, the pumps should be pulled, torn down, inspected, and reassembled. My manual says the pump seal and the drive shaft bumper should be changed at 100 hrs. I only have 80 hrs on my '02 GTXs, but they are 12 years old. So, I decided to pull the pumps this year (I bought them used in '13), and I'm glad I did. The pump had a lot of water inside.
