First time seadoo owner

Got a seadoo for the first time this year, had to rebuilt carbs, and get it running, (1997 XP hadnt been ridden in a while (2-3 years, other owner wasn't the best))

Anyhow, we got it started-lots of fun, just wondering what else i need to do to make the engine have a longer lifespan.

with it sit'n for that long, i'd add a few oz. to gas,..just to help the lube process.

Welcome. Go get some new fuel lines and replace all of the ones in your ski. The first thing that needs to be done. Or, you will be rebuilding those carbs more often.

proper maint. according to your owners manual, another thing is proper winterization. Take care of your ski and it will make you happy. Keep up with things on it, I would replace the plugs as per needed as well.
