First run in challenger 1800

Finally got to take the challenger out for the first time today.
I love it already

Yeah, rego numbers have to be 200mm minimum to be legal here.

My excitement was short lived!
Getting the boat ready for the weekend I noticed fuel smell and decided to look at the tank.
Cracks everywhere, now I have to pull the engines and make a new tank.
Not happy!

So I finally got time to make a new tank.
I think it it came out great

WOW, that's some great work, you're a real artist with metal. Did you fabricate the new tank out of aluminum?

Cheers Lou, yes it's aluminum.
I'm in the process of typing a post on what I did but it's 10:06pm here so I'm about to call it a night.
Hopefully between cutting the filler and pick up tubes to height, fitting the engines and my work I'll be able to post it tomorrow.
