Finger Throttle

I want to by a finger throttle for my 96 gsx ware can I get one? Also are the specific to the ski or are they a one size fits all and require customizing certain pieces. Thanks

I don't know if they are "one size fits all" but have you checked Altlantic PWC or SBT's web site. Both carry them and they are really pretty nice.

For the people who have done this modification what needed to be done i.e cutting sanding I found out what parts from Patrick at Atlantic power sports but he told me that their are no directions to this process any help would be greatly appreciated:cheers:

How did you do that? IIRC, that company is out of business as of 2009?

I have one of THESE that I installed and didn't use much. If you want it, I will make you an offer you cannot refuse. It is not black though. Stainless steel. It worked well on the 01 XP but when I upgraded to an 03 GTX, it won't fit.

I used the Riva kit but had that cover so as to cover up the hole. I only got the finger throttle and used it. Now I have the full kit but am not too thrilled with it because of the extensions. I am going to have to cut the housing to get the handlebar length down if I want to use the stock covers and not have it so far out. Will see how i feel about it this year when I ride it.

It will work but you just have a hole there.

Do you think its worth it having the finger over the thumb throttle?

Absolutely. Even on my ATV I have a twist throttle instead of the thumb. My thumb gets sore after a bit.
