Fiberglass Hull Repair Estimate?

Well fellows, it enviably happened. Apparently I backed the trailer too far into the water, and ran the ski into it. The damage is about the size of a quarter or so. If you had to guess about how much do you think it'd be to repair? I just want to have a number in mind before I call any places. I read about doing it myself, but I'm not that kind of guy.

That's superficial. Buy a black gel kit, and fix it. Personally... if it was my ski... I would dab a little epoxy on it... then some black paint.

I know it's a new ski... but ski's get scratched, and scuffed. If you sweat it... you won't enjoy it.

Black gel kit??? how it is exactly works can anyone tell me? If it is work to repair the hull then it will be really going to be most precious thing for me which relief my solution.

As long as the area needing repaired is only the outter gel cote, it can be fixed very easy. The painted area that is rock hard and several mm thick, that is the gel cote. They make repair kits to fix damaged areas. In the kit, you get most of what you need. The gel comes already colored, you ix it with the supplied hardener, smear it over the damaged area. Cover it with plastic, let it dry for 2 hours. Then come back and sand it down. Takes about 3 hours total but will look brand new when done. You can buy the kit matched to your factory sea doo color.

Wow, I got quoted like 75 to repair a spot like that on my ski, unfortunately that wasn't the only spot and it ended up being 700 bucks.

Edit: and you're in Houston! South Texas boat works in Pasadena, they're a small shop but they got my stuff done in under a week.
