I recently bought a Oil Rig fast rescue rigid inflatable built circa 1997 as a project.
Starting to think Ive bitten off more than I can chew, but getting there slow progress better than none at all. Ill post photo's of this as I go.
The jet drives are 2 stage Hamilton jet drives. Made and invented in New Zealand.
2 stage meaning theres 2 impellors in one unit. These I have fitted new cutlass water lubed bearings and new shafts. Running on Yamaha superjet solas impellors.
2x Engines are Renault 1200cc with modified water cooled exhausts.
Work nearly completed for Summer but halted as I bust my ankle jumping over the side.
I cant wait to get this thing in the water Pictures to follow.
