Factory Exhaust Question!

my buddy has a factory head pipe layin around for a 787/800 motor and i wanna throw it on my 96 xp but he doesnt have any thing for it besides the flange peice that bolts to the exhaust mani and the lower head pipe, 2 couplers and the top mounting bracket. does anyone know what else ill need to put this on? or if its even any good? thanks in advance

Sounds like you have a spec 1 pipe. Yes it is worth using. Post a picture of it to make sure. You will have to re-jet the carbs.

now factorys web site says it comes with the water injection module, is that a requirement to have that also? or use the ECWI?

Only the spec 2 comes with the ECWI. ECWI is an option for the spec 1.

so this is just a direct bolt on and nothing else beside jetts? what size jets are good?
