Extended Warrenty. Is it worth it?

I bought two 08 GTX's Seadoo's last year and the factory warrenties will expire this June. I can buy a 4 year extened factory warrenty for about $1200for each GTX. I will most likely not keep them beyond 4 years. I expect to put about 20 to 30 hours yearly and ride them in the ocean and fresh water. I am not interested in working on them myself. I am wondering if at that price it is a good idea to buy the extened warrenties?

i would check to see what all is included in this warranty. ask plenty of questions that way you know what you are really getting and be sure all this is in writing. i would hate for the VTS or something to go out and you have to fork out $500 after buying the warranty. i do not know what all is covered, just check, cause these things are plenty pricey when things break or go out. good luck

I normally never get an extended warranty on anything. I did get Sea-Doo's BEST warranty when I bought my XP in 1997. The last month of the warranty, the VTS went out. It paid for itself with that one incident.

Line Rhino said though, make sure what it covers.
