Extended Service Warranty

I have just purchased a 2012 GTX limited, it has one year left on the warranty.
With your experience on break down issues, is it recommended by the members of this forum to purchase an Extended Service Program?

Sounds reasonable to me but read the fine print or "exclusions" very very carefully and if you quiz something I suggest
you use email so you have a written response of the answers as a verbal reply isn't worth, you know.......

I can I can purchase a BEST for approx.the same with a $50. deduct.
Or as the dealer suggests a Western with a $0 deduct. for the same.
So is an ext. warranty usually suggested by most here given the possible issues that arise?
