Exhaust Valve

I made a mistake I think by turning the exhaust valve red screw down. (similar looking to the rave valves red covers)

Before I take it out on the water does anyone know the way to set it? I think it was flush to the top before I touched it. I screwed it back out now to flush with the cap.


Any tips?
