I have been on a year and a half long quest to find NOS hull exhaust seals for my 2000 challenger with no luck. While doing searches on this forum I come across someone making the suggestion of using pipe flashings from Best Materials.com but no one actually posted if they had used pipe flashings and how the install went. I bought two of their smallest round pipe flashings part number 1RS and it ended up being about a quarter inch too big so I took the original seal retainer and a die grinder with a carbide bit and opened up the ID until I could pull the boot through the ID of the ring. I then used the ring as a template to drill my holes and bolted them up to the hall of the boat and I will have to say I am very pleased at how it turned out. I took pictures of all the steps I done to install these flashings and I was going to do a write up on how I done it but for some reason I can't upload pictures onto this site. When I click manage attachments and select my picture then click upload nothing happens. I upload pictures on other forums I'm associated with without a problem but this one I seem to have a problem if someone could help me out I will post pics of the install.
