Exhaust temp/repair

What is the touch temperature of the exhauat pipe? I am trying to find a putty or seal i can slap on the existing round factory seals on the bottom which have started to leak. Hope to find a putty i can slap on to avoid removing. Any help would be much appreciated! I found a 500degree product but not sure that will hold up. Thanks

Look at a 787 exhaust pipe and u will see the factory welded plugs i am referring too...
