Exhaust sealant

Could anyone recommend an alternative to the recommended Dow Corning 736 Heat Resistant Sealant for my exhaust? Or a link to purchase. Manual says my 947 engine's exhaust needs this on one of seals. Wanted to check here before I call dealer cause I'm sure they'll say I can't substitute and charge me a small fortune.

ummm I use head gasket sealant...autozone,..etc.

a guy in a automotive exhaust shop was using Permatex Ultra Gold on car exhausts. they are mucho hotter than water-filled PWC exhausts.
