a good set of allen wrenches, extensions, and a 17mm short wrench to reach the bottom right nut. Broken bolts are common so be careful and soak it with pb blaster overnight

Are you trying to remove the whole exhaust or just remove the resonator and tailpipe to repair the exhaust gasket?

I am currently making the exact same repair on a 97 Challenger 1800. You need a long extension to reach the lower allen screws on the foundation, like 2 feet.

I was a little excessive on my estimate for the extension. An 8 inch Allen wrench on a ratchet was perfect. No snapped bolts, I got lucky. The hardest part was removing the lower clamp.

I got it off by removing bolt in the side of the pipe. Got a new cap welded on. Have a guy with long arms coming over to help with reinstall

Yeah, removing that bolt would be easier. I thought it was a fixed mount with bushings since my bolt was missing. Hope to try to fish it out of the bilge tonight.
