Exhaust head pipe plastic hose melting

Hello first time posting! I have a 1998 seadoo XP limited, Does anyone have any ideas on why this hose would be blowing out? I repaired it once the nipple has no blockage to it. I also checked the regulator. Regulator seems to be working fine. I'm wondering if maybe the exhaust is weakening the plastic causing it to blow out? Our exhaust is getting too hot for some reason. What are your guys's thoughts?1000006043.jpg

Pipe is getting too hot. You have a blockage somewhere or a hose is routed incorrectly, only way for the pipe to get hot enough to melt a hose.
