i get a 2 second beep about every 20 or 30 mins, the ecu and wiring has been altered from stock.
i was told, dont worry its from the alterations.
does anyone else know about this or know what fault it is? anyway to read the list of faults without going to a dealer?

The 04 doesn't have a display like the newer models. Best bet is take it to a dealer or buy a CanDoo system. Does it lose power or rpms when the beeper goes off....aka limp mode? Engine lights?

nothing happens, just a beep every 20 or 30 mins. scares the sh#* out of you sometimes!!

There's your first problem. What do you mean by "altered"? Aftermarket parts? Or backyard bubba wiring "fix"?

LOL ^^^.......Any turbo or supercharger mods done correctly shouldn't make your boat "beep" all the time. Is it a single beep for say a second or does it beep for a longer length of time?

the boat was running a turbo, that's why ecu and wiring alterations. the turbo was done by well known aus racing dealer....
the turbo is now gone, back to a supercharger. the ecu was meant to have gone back to stock, but after hearing the beep again i'm not so sure.
the boat was out of the water for 20 months. carrier bearing changed to carbon seal, got that problem too.
slowly going over everything and sorting the shit out!?(hopefully).

single beep, 2 seconds every 20 or 30 minutes

may have found the problem.....
i brought a candoo pro, came with a p0520 fault. (ops sensor) got the new sensor, replaced the old one. the old one may have been the wrong one for the 04 ecu (grey colour, should be black).
i'll be taking the boat out this Friday, hopefully that annoying fault will be gone!!
still have some cavitation at 4000rpm, there is small vane damage at the impeller side can this cause the cavitation?

That can certainly cause some capitation. Is your pump the plastic one or the upgraded aluminum. In The earlier 4tec skis seadoo used a plastic pump that was prone to flex and cause capitation in the SC models.

error code gone, cavitation gone!
replaced oil sensor to the correct one, replace wear ring. back on the water!!
need to replace impeller, 15/20 on now. need a better take off, don't care so much about top end speed any more, any recommendations? 13/18?
