I have a 2007 Challenger 230 SE; all runs except motors are out of synch. They are both at 2000 rpms at idle; when you give ti throttle, the right motor is as much as 750 rpms faster than the left. Does anybody else have this issue? Is it an wasy fix? thanks

I too have the 2007 Challenger SE. I experienced this issue a few months after getting the boat in mid 2007. It went in for its first expensive service and was fixed (RPM issue). After blowing supercharger washers 2 summers ago and getting repaired under warranty, the RPM issue has since returned. I would like to know how to fix myself....if anyone could help, it would be much appreciated.

Hey guys, unfortunately you will need a tool to reset your TPS (throttle position sensor), I purchased the Candoo Limited tool, you can get it at PWC Muscle and also get 5% off for being a member here. It's a $400.00 tool, but I'm telling you man it will pay for itself. Mine has prolly paid for itself twice now and I've only had it about a month,

You basically need to check your throttle cable (at the throttle body), on each engine. There is a throttle cable adjuster (again please don't mess around with it unless you can reset your TPS) anyways, you get it dialed in and reset the TPS sensor so the sensor isn't all confused. I just went through it on my 07' speedster 200. Its a bit of a trial process but again you need the tool, and some patience.

My 2005 speedster has a similar problem, not really big deal just got to have the throttles an inch different to get the same RPMs from each engine, not ideal I know but not worth spending the dough in my mind - mind you if you (BMANN06) ever head to the Maritimes, bring your Candoo with you and I will let you take care of it for an appropriate amount of alcohol!!!
