I just want to make sure that I have this right. I know which hose is the engine drain hose and which one is the engine water supply hose but I do not not see anything anywhere about my 98 947CC XP LTD and which water return line to pull off for the antifreeze to go in? It look like it splits.

For putting antifreeze in, do I put it in the engine water supply while clamping the engine drain hose and not have to worry about the return or is there some place I take the return off and put antifreeze in there?

Do I take off the engine drain hose to drain the block?

I have spent a couple of days searching for this information and looking thru the manual. It is all right here in front of me. But when it is not labeled and you do not know, it is difficult. Any insite is appreciated. I know these questions get old and seem simple. When it comes to winterizing my Xstar, I could do it in my sleep.

Winterize?

Pinch the engine drain hose. Pinch the water supply hose. Take off the water return (outlet) hose and pour a 50/50 mix of water and anti-freeze (for aluminum engines) through a funnel into the engine till you see it in engine drain hose.

Now, take all the pinchers off and assemble all your lines. Your finished. Most of the coolant will drain back out of the engine. It has a TLCS (total loss cooling system). What's left inside now has enough anti-freeze to protect it from freezing.

Seadoo snipe-

Thanks for the reply I appreciate it. Is the water return hose the hose that goes out the side of the ski? It looks like it has a quick disconnect on it? I thought on the 947 I pour in antifreeze straight into the block thru the water supply hose.

This gets antifreeze into the exhaust?
