The 1997 XP 800 800cc what is the horse power
1996 Challenger 787 110 HP
SBT asks if it is a XP800 , why?
are the interchangeable
one better than the other ?

That's weird...

That doesn't make sense. Since the XP800 was the first 787cc introduced in 1995, I don't see why he's asking that about a 1997 model.

In 1995 and earlier, the 717 was the top dawg.....then, they introduced the 787. This motor was in the two XP's for that year. They listed them as the XP and the XP800. The 787 is often referred to as an 800.

The horsepower is 110 for the 787 and 85 for the 717. But where horsepower matters most, the pump, the 717 had around 47 hp at the nozzle and the 787 had about 57 hp........:cheers:
 
thanks for the info , I know electrical systems , hydro and aero dynamics , physics but nothing about seadoo jet drives .
I thought the xp800 was 800cc
