Engine Serial #

Where is the serial number stamped or placarded on the Rotex engine? I need to list it to get my boat registered here in TX. Boat isn't on site so figured I'd ask before driving up to get try and find it.

I am not sure where another ID is located. But there is supposed to be a rectangluar metal tag on top of the magneto box at the front of the engine.

Mine fell off.

HIN and the EIN....

You have two numbers for your boats identity.

The HIN (hull identification number) is located on the lower right hand side of your jet pump.

The EIN (engine identification number) is located on the engine. Open the engine cover and looking from the top, you should see it stamped on the back of the casing, just over the PTO flywheel on the right, or it will be all the way forward, looking from the top, stamped on the casing next to the magneto.
