Hey. I recently got an engine completely rebuilt. I’m going to install it but before I start it, should any oil be poured into the cylinders or anywhere else? Thanks
Are your oil pump lines primed and charged? Generally when I run a rebuilt engine for the first few hours I run premix in addition to the oil pump. I start off with a tank of 40:1 then I don't add any more oil, just fuel as needed. It dilutes the mixture gradually. Good Luck !!

I have the 2 oil lines that go to the engine but everthing else is oil deleted. Will that change anything? I planned on running premix so I didn’t have to worry about the oil pump breaking
So you only have the 2 large lines (12mm) one feeding the rotary valve and the other, the return line from the rotary valve chamber to the oil tank. As long as you removed the oil pump and plugged the oil pump fittings going into the intake you should be OK.
Since you are breaking in the engine I'd go a little heavy on the premix for the first couple of hours. 32:1. Good Luck
