Hi,

After riding all day with kids and family, going back to the ramp at slow speed (2600rpm) then it begin to smell bad combustion gas (first we think it was coming from Pwc riding near) so I decided to speed up a little bit make sure that is not a backdraft of our engine. When I push the throttle the engine did not respond like it always do. Engine run like not all cylinder working (rattle and inconsistent rpm without touching throttle)

When I put back throttle you can feel engine vibration...

Boat has only 15 hours and it is the 255hp engine

Any idea

Sounds like a plug crapped out. Put a fresh set in and you should be good to go. The supercharged 4tecs are known to eat plugs like candy.

Change plugs went back on water engine sound ok but after 5 min at 7000rpm then throttle back around 3500rpm same thing happen again engine begin to smell and you even can feel vibration....

Not very funny...

Do you still have the factory warranty? If so just take it back to the dealer and let them deal with it. Are you seeing and "P" codes scrolling on your digital display or a check engine light?

No error code only the maintenance icon lit since hit 10h. Bring back to dealer but told me 2012 first maintenance is at 25h. Now have 23h but I'm heading to dealer. Not very happy since we just buy this boat to enjoy our vacation. The boat is under 5 years warranty hopefully !

Could it be supercharger, fuel injector, computer, bad compression?

I don't think it's anything major to be honest. It seems to run fine for a while and then act up. If its any of the above things you mentioned it would do it all the time, save the injector. That can be intermittent and would require a scanner to pinpoint almost always.

Ok dealer found the problem... Cracked intercooler... Hope this the first and the last problem with this boat!
