My port side engine is loose. i.e., i notice it moves a little when i grab it and shake it. Will this cause damage if i run it? How do I tighten up the mounts?

Yes.....don't run it.....either a motor mount is broke or a bolt backed out...if a mount broke you should just replace all...do a egnine alignment when installing the new mounts...for best results...

Yep... what he said.

Seadoo driveshafts don't allow for any miss-alignment. So... with that engine moving... the shaft is lightly binding, and you can break it... Throw it... or, simply rip the splines out of the PTO.

Thanks, how in the world do you access the mounts? I cant even see them. Can you foward a diagram.

Thanks,

Not sure what boat you have but you should be able to see them...there is going to be four of them basically at all corners...I needed a 8 inch exstention on 2 of mine then had to add another 4 to get to the back 2....just do one at a time and don't crank down tight if your doing an alignment...and make sure you put the driveshaft back in the pto and the splines line up...

it's hard to give you any real info, since we don't know what your are working on.
