ok; i am in my early fifties. my girlfriend is mid-forties. my seadoos have a tendency to stay right-side up so i don't have a lot of experience in this area. but one of most common cries for help is "my engine is full of water!!" so, i had a thought. dry gas. it is ethanol. absorbs water. now you mix it about 10 to 1 with 2-stroke oil. if you turn motor until piston is all the way down, the intake ports are open. jack up the exhaust side of seadoo or trailer so it doesn't all run into exhaust, you will get the stuff into the crankcase where you need it. mebbe an ounce or 2 per cyl at a time. pour some in-turn engine till other cyl is down-pour some in. crank with starter and blow it out. repeat. obviously you want to have previously cranked most of the water out with plugs removed. you should be able to turn motor by hand with rear flywheel. cover comes off pretty easy. how do you find bottom of piston travel, you say? you already have plugs out. chopsticks. coffee stirrers. straws. cut-down coat hanger. or you could go buy a dial indicator for $100 or so. can anyone tell me if this is a bad idea? robin? karl?

Honestly....I just lean the pwc in a port direction and hit the starter with the plugs out and caps on the grounding posts. Crank it to a count of 10...rest for 1 minute(cool the starter) repete 3 times...2 squirts of wd-40 each cylinder, between reps,( no debate please) insert 2 new properly gaped plugs. Little choke, fire it up. Go ride the crap out of it....any questions?
