I bought a non running 1991 SP with the 580 engine. The engine BARELY turns over with full charge and I know the charge is full. While it barely turns over there is a terrible clicking noise 2 sources of the clicking noise is from the starter soleniod and one from the engine. The clicking noise from the engine is a good bit louder. New to seadoos so any help would be appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Clicking?

Since you identified one source of the clicking as the solenoid, the other source being in the motor would be of greater concern. If you hear anything in the engine like that, I would assume that something is either broke, or about to break. It would be hard to find a problem like that without being there, but its possible the worm gear (backlash) on the rotary shaft is either bad or most likely, broken.
Hope you find out what's going on and welcome to the forum!

Yea I am defineately more concerned with the clicking of the motor I am kind of a guru with 4 stroke honda engines but when it comes to seadoo im clueless I guess only a total break down will uncover the problem Thanks for you help

SDS is probably correct, you have either lower con rod damage or your rotary valve drive gear is broken. Either way, it's time to pull the engine.
