Hello,
I am in the process of swapping out my engine on my xp. I am concerned about alligning the motor correctly. I have checked with the mechanics around my area and they can't offer any help since I did not buy a new "seadoo" engine through them. I purchased a lightly used (8 hrs) STB 787 as my replacement. I have read several posts about the importance of alligning the engine and drive shaft correctly, which makes me feel a little uneasy about doing it myself. Does anyone have any suggestions? What else do I need to look out for when replacing the engine? I know that I need to replace all of the fuel lines before installing the engine. Any suggestions would be very helpful.
