I have a 06 155hp sportster, had it winterized in Oct. went to pull it out with a fresh batt. no beeps & speedo & tach were erratic. Took it to the dealer who winterized it & after spending 4 billable hrs diagnosis they came to the conclusion the ECU in the dash is bad, this boat only has 34 hrs. on it. supposable the dealer is trying to get it under warranty but is not making any promises.? anybody know what would cause this with the low hrs. on it I think something is fishy

There is no way he is billing you 4 hours for a warranty part if he gets it covered. It takes about 20 minutes to figure out what is bad electrically. The labor and the part would be covered if the warranty picks any of it up.

Thanks Guy,

I kinda figured I'm getting porked here, but caught in a web. still haven't heard if they will cover anything, I do plan on opening a file with BRP hopefully that will help. The dealer said they has seadoo on the phone while diagnosis and had a boat in the yard they were changing swaping parts, that's how they found it?
