Hello,
Hopefully I'm posting in the right spot, still new to the forum. I had posted in other thread, but think this is a more appropriate thread. I have had my 2012 Challenger 210 SE since last September, really enjoying it, but recently had some issues. I've been getting a check engine light on my starboard engine, when in reality my port engine is not shutting down when the key is in the accessory position, as the port hour meter remains on and ECM runs hot. When I do turn the main battery switch off for storage and back on when ready to take it out, the port hour meter goes back to a specific hour.
I had contacted several dealerships and non of their technicians have ever heard of such an issue and became a tad concerned. I would like to know if anyone else had any similar issues or problem with their hour meter or ECM. The dealership did attempt replacing the ECM, but they couldn't and reset the hour meter back to 0 hrs, while also making the engine run funny. Sorry for the long post, just anxious with an issue like this and wanting to get back in the water
Thanks in advance
