Dropped gas spout into gas tank!!

We just purchased a 2002 Sea Doo GTX DI 2 days ago and some how while filling the tank, the gas can spout/nozzle fell down into the gas tank. How in the heck can this be removed? Is there any harm with leaving it?

Remove the filler tube and fish it out. If it's plastic it won't harm anything, till you want to use the gas can it came off.

The gas can was purchased at Walmart just yesterday and our son didn't realize the long (6 inches or more) gas nozzle would come off so when he went to the fill the tank, it slipped off. He tried grabbing it but it just pushed it down into the tank.

Where's the filler tube and how should it be removed?
