Dropped a spark plug under the engine...

While putting in fresh plugs today. One fell outta my hand, rolled outboard of the exhaust, and i believe went under the engine. I reached under best i could from the front of the engine, and couldn't get it. Other then rolling around and being annoying, are there any dangers wiht it being under there?? Moving parts etc?

Nothing to worry about. It will show up in the rear of the boat eventually.

Just got mine back...

I dropped one back in december. Tried to put the trailer straight up and force it out with a water hose, and finally gave up on it.

After about 12 trips out, about half of them jumping pretty good waves, it showed up last week. Just sitting there, at the very back of the hull, by where the bilge tubes are mounted.

I had done it before but was able to get it back immediately. But still bought 2 extra spark plugs and always keep them in the truck in case I drop another.

Yep, had a socket in mine for about 6 months, I had to pull alot of venting hose out, and there he was!!!

At $1.96 a piece, and the fact that i run mainly in salt water, i'll take the loss, lol. Good thought though!

i use a magnet on a stick. doesn't work for the stainless bolts though...
