Driveshaft: OEM or SBT

Just picked up a re-built 951 after throwing a rod last year and getting ready to put it back in. My driveshaft has a slight bow from locking up when the engine let go. The OEM is about $85 more than SBT. Any thoughts??? Also, I noticed the black rave cap has a crack, should it be replaced or is that not a problem?

Hi,

You probably could save some by buying used and pm'ing 99spxxx or minnetonka4me.
It looks like the 99GSXL uses same drive shaft and they would have ski parts.

Otherwise aluminum is aluminum and shouldn't make difference vs oem.
