I need to drain the oil out and change it. I found the drain plug down below the fill plug, but I can't get an allen wrench in with any kind of angle to turn it. Is there a special tool or am I going to have to loosen the motor mounts and lift the tail end of the motor. My other option is to slip a small soft plastic tube in the fill area and suction it out with my break bleeder, this option doesn't allow me to know if the case is toataly empty. Anyone have advise. Thanks

Oil....?

What oil are you trying to drain? And, why? If it's the balance shaft oil, you should only need to check that it has 1 oz in it. You don't need to change it. It's not like a car motor.

Allen wrenches?.........you can go to any auto supply store (Advanced Auto or Autozone) and buy a set of metric allen wrenches that connect to your 3/8's drive socket ratchet and connect it to an extension to get to it.........they are also handy to have on hand for the carbs or any other allen head bolt on this 787, since your likely going to come in to some that are seized with aluminum oxide.......
