Drain Holes Under Seats?

Hi,
I have a 2006 Sportster 4-Tec, with seats that never seem to dry.
My cover lets a fair amount of water in (waterproofing is coming soon), and the seats seem to pool a bit of water under them. Every time you step on the seats, water comes squishing out.
For those who have removed them, are there any drain holes underneath? Wondering if adding some holes would be bad? Would just drain into the bilge.
Thanks.

Both my 09 RXT-X and my 2010 GTX have holes.

I have a 04 sportster 4-tec. there are no holes under seats for drainage, and i don't want salt water ending up inside boat and in eng compartment from draining when its in use. I always use a little wet dry vac after washing it and putting in it away to dry engine compartment and areas that hold water.

Good point with the salt water. I'm in fresh water though, so it wouldn't mater as much for me.
Hate to drill holes, but the wet seats are getting annoying. Especially if you just want to go for a ride and stay dry.

Thanks for the reply Coastiejoe but those are different seats. I'm referring to the ones in the boats that are fastened down with the plastic darts.

Hey, I have the same exact boat and have noticed what you say about the water. There does always seam to be water down there, but not to the point of bothering me yet. I just got the boat less than 2 months ago. Everytime we take it out though, we are in swim suits, so that may be why we don't care. But we wonder where the water comes from. Everything with this boat is a learning experience, first time owner of any kind of boat.

I'm pretty sure the cover is the issue. Planning to add some anti-pooling poles and waterproof it before next season. Every time it rains, the inside of the boat is soaked. Had some 303 Fabric Guard on my Yamaha cover, and it worked great. I'll start there and see if that helps.
