drain hole behind seat?

I'm thinking of drilling 3 x 1/4" drain holes behind rear seat in challenger 1800. does anybody see anything wrong with this? like too much water in bilge?. the boat is left in the water all summer. any ideas,suggestions.View attachment 39964

I don't see any harm in that. The water ends up in the bilge just like all the other drains in the boat. only concern is you might get some water pooling on top of the gas tank.

I bought these so that I could run a drain tube to the bottom of the bilge (preventing water on components).

Smart. And when it gets block i could just blow shop air back through the line
