Doesn't want to start when warm.

I've got a 99 seadoo gsx 800 rfi and it will start right up when it's cold. But, after my wife and I each take a ride it doesn't want to start after we let it sit for 20-30 mins. Any ideas what could be happening?

Often, it can be that the rotary valve clearance is too wide, after running, the clearance expands, making it hard to start.

No, the rave valves wouldn’t have anything to do with hard warm starts @POPPS is referring to the rotary valve beneath the intake manifold. The clearance from the valve to the cover could be getting larger due to wear
