Do I have to have the MPU reprogramed ?

I am rebuilding my 950-DI upper end, a piston was lost due to detonation, the shop is boring out 1mm, making it 89mm.
With that being said, will I have to have the computer reprogramed to allow for the increase of air volume?
This is in a 2001 GTX DI, the craft looks brand new, see pic.
Also, does anyone know of an inexpensive programmer like Candoopro that allows perimeter changes (New or Used)?

You don't need to reprogram anything and I can't think of any parameters that would need programming. I have a Candoo and generally just use it to make keys, reset Throttle position and such. It can do more with the DI but I have always solved problems with good old fashioned trouble shooting. Good Luck.

I am not sure what you mean by "limited." I upgraded to the "unlimited number of licenses". I don't see any difference in the performance of the Candoo System as a result of the upgrade. The difference is I can use the Unit on as many skis as I want. I believe for someone that is using it for personal the 5 Licenses that come with the purchase would be all you need. I'd caution anyone that believes the Candoo is going to solve ski troubleshooting problems on the 2-strokes, there just isn't that much electronics to benefit. Candoo is much more helpful on the DI.

You need to find out why you lost a piston.
I would at minimum sent the fuel and air injectors out for cleaning and inspection.

I wasn't the one that lost the piston. the gas in the machine was yellow it was so old. with that being said, detonation !
I will post pictures.

The 950 Di upper end rebuild is completed, the jugs now are 1mm over. I added extra oil to the new gas to make sure the motor has oil.
The motor runs great, However, I noticed the wear ring was falling apart like rice glass when I was running the motor. Other than that, no codes, only had 175 hours on it when it went down. I am very happy with this rebuild I did.
Now off to rebuild the pump. Prop and bearings are very good.......LOOKS LIKE FUN.... replacing the ring. Any helpful input on this?

I always hear people say they put the ring in the freezer for a few hrs before install, makes it slide in easier. Normally people has use a Sawzall to remove the old one, but be careful not to cut the outer housing.

I put a small blade on the saw, the ring fell right out. Waiting on the prop tool to remove it before installing the ring.
The anti-rattle pusher is dark around the metal tab, I think I will replace the cone and parts to be sure.
Any helpful hints as to trimming the ring when installing the prop???

You don't trim the ring.
Impeller should go into the new ring snug but not bind up, make sure you clean the housing really well before inserting the new ring.

Watching you-tube vid of the ring change out, most were hacks. I figured it out, all was needed was to press the ring in the pump, I have 5thousands clearance all the way around.
The engine is rebuild, Yes you do add additional oil to the fuel for break in period, as per Sea-Doo.
I am new to the PWC spot, sorry to ask common questions, However, I do know the Rotex engine .
Thank you for your help, The craft runs great.
