Desperately trying to find a Lh choke cable for my 2002 sportster lt but everywhere I look the part is discontinued and nobody has one in stock. Everyone has the Rh one but not the Lh.

Any ideas where I can find one or if theres another model that a similar cable which I can use instead?

Also, can anyone tell me what a Throw length is? I've found a similar cable which is a bit longer than I need but it could be routed differently but it has 1" more throw length than the one I need and I have no idea what that means.

Part number I need is: 204250216

Attach a string(to pull the new one through) to your's and remove it, then measure it. Then compare it to the RH one, if it's just a longer cable just let the slack stay in the hull. The throw should be the same for both sides since the carbs are the same, it's just a choke cable you pull it till it stops. Or just swap your right to your left and try it before you buy it.

The best part is, the 3 on Ebay.com all have different lengths, LOL. 204250071 RH cable

Fitted one of these brand new yesterday which fits the Rh engine perfect but it wont reach to the Lh engine. The part number for the Lh engine is 204250216 which i'm assuming will be 30"-40" inch longer with the same 1.5" throw as the Rh engine. But nobody has one in stock so only option I can see is to try and find a similar cable from a different model.
I haven't got the original Lh cable to measure as it wasn't on the boat when I bough it which doesn't help.

Yea twin 720's it's the longer one I need for the left engine. If you want to sell it ill be more than happy to take it off your hands :)

Wrong cables I think. It looks like his cables have a different end.
