i posted this on the boat section..sorry,am new here :( still getting used :)

anyways..admins,feel free to delete it from the boat section..thanks

Hi guys,

I'm from the Caribbean and I would like to know if seadoo's sold here are made from different materials..we don't have lakes,so all watercrafts go in salt water with rough waves sometimes(lots of fun btw)...

for example, my cousin has a 2008 gtx limited and he told me that the dealership etc claims that seadoo's sold here are stronger..seems like they're made in canada.

so my question is, is this true or just some marketing trick? in order to avoid people from buying overseas, they rather have them believe that?

I honestly doubt it...i think that every single gtx or every single rxt or whatever are made the same for around the world...

i hope you guys understand my question... thanks in advance!!

yup i posted this same thread in the boat section :( thats why i asked an admin to remove it...

so what you're saying is, a seadoo bought in wherever part of the world is build identical?
if i buy it locally or from the states, i can use both here?

my concern is that most of you guys go to lakes with your watercrafts and lakes are smoother than open sea..thats why i was like hmmm is this true or just bs...

as i stated before..the thing that pisses me off about buying locally are the prices...they are more expensive locally here

I use mine out in the ocean, all the time...i'll sell you a 97' challenger 1800, if yuo figure out shipping to there...:)
