I had a bearing go on one of my jet pumps on my speedster, it wrecked the housing so I couldn't rebuild it with a bearing kit. I bought a used pump from a guy online, seems like it is all the same size and everything but the pump housing is plastic instead of aluminum. Plastic one has the brass veins. Can I run one aluminum and one plastic bodies pumps together on the boat or should both pumps be the same?
