Deep cycle

How long do you guys think a radio with two 6 inch speakers would last out on the water before it would kill my battery....

So are you saying you have a deep cycle battery besides the normal starting battery? Or thats all you have, a single deep cycle? It could last for hours honestly. Buy one of the battery jump packs and leave it on the boat. Thats what I did with mine before i added the 2nd battery. Even with an amp powering 4 6.5 speakers and 2 10" subs i was never stranded. I used it for 2 hours once.

Yea just one single deep cycle... I do have a sole marine trickle charger.... Would this help keep the battery up as I listen or are they junk?

I wouldnt just wander out and let it play for hours to test the theory of how long it lasts. I havent personally used a solar charger, but i dont think it would totally keep it charged, but it wont hurt it either. Like i said, get a battery pack and go enjoy your tunes. Try an hour or 2 then maybe do it a bit longer next time. With just 2 speakers though, you should be fine a while.

K.... Yea it's just gonna be for tomorrow... I'm gonna add an extra battery this week...but thank you for your info
