Debris clogging impeller area

[full speed]

boat is 98 Seadoo Challenger 1800. Debris mostly bark and little sticks regularly clog the impeller area. Boat rendered useless untill I can get back to the dock and raise boat on boatlift and remove debris.

Any recommended fixes??

I would honestly try boating in another area with less debris...it's only a matter of time before serious damage is done to your impeller if it hasn't happened already. Soft vegetation such as seaweed and lily pads are ok, but tree bark and wood can cause some serious issues!

I agree with Matt...keep your eyes open and avoid as much debris as possible.
