My 2006 speedster is taking on water and cavitating massively at 5 mph. Reading seadoo forums, it sounds like the carbon ring. I asked dealer to check the seal. He refused, saying water was coming from a hose leak and cavitation was caused by impellor and wear ring. Both problems happened at the exact same time, as near as I can tell. Yes I did hit some gravel, but I checked impellor from both sides and see no damage and no gap between impellor and wear ring. Dealer told me to either do the impellor and wear ring or come and get my boat and take it somewhere else. I mentioned seadoo forums and he said advice from the forum was useless.
