So this is off of my new to me '97 Challenger I picked up last weekend. I have the pump rebuilt with all new OEM parts and a new stock impeller and the boat is running fine but I'm wondering if this is a candidate for having repaired or not?

It's a Skat 16-24 swirl in really bad shape on the blades, I know where to send a prop to and get it back better than new but don't have a clue who's top of the mark in impeller repair or if it's even viable to have it fixed.

Any wisdom from the knowledge base here, should I fix it or write it off? Not even sure if it's an appropriate impeller for the boat (97 Challenger 787 single). I do want to put together another complete pump ready to bolt on to have a spare on hand so any input is appreciated.

Gezzz....

That's not hardly damaged at all. I'd personally fix it in my garage with a hammer, and a file. I've seen impellers fixed that had one blade half ripped off, and bent back.

Besides... that's a "Swirl" impeller. They hook-up WAY better than OEM.

So, any recommendations as to who will fix it right and is it sized properly to the boat?
