Hi
Thanks so much for replying to my post.
I am still trying to find my way around this site as I only joined yesterday.
I bought a seadoo-bombadier a few weeks ago, she was lying un-used (and un-loved) in the marina yard. so I made the owner an off and he accepted. She is fitted with twin rotax 2-stroke engines,
I fitted her with two new batteries, fresh fuel, new spark plugs. and gave her a good check over.
However one engine is giving trouble, initially it would start and run for maybe 10/20 seconds. I thought this might be a fuel prob, so I| checked the fuel filters, fuel lines, and shut off valves. (all clean) and I blew back fuel lines. there was no evidence of fuel blockages.
I then removed carbs and checked then for blockages or perforated diaphragms again all seems fine.
But still no go, the plugs are fouling which tells me it might be spark (or lack of)
I suspect that the coil might be the problem, but im not sure, I have never worked on a seadoo before and I would be really gratefull for any advice you might offer me. Thanks again for reading this post Daithi
